ENM Promyvion

Team Avengers continues to do ENM runs to Promyvion.  The party has some star members Lego, Dragonesti, Meirin, Turq, Gui, Rick.  Several members can interchange between Tank and the coveted, Summoner/Ranger spots that are always wanted. This depends on who is available and which Avengers come along for the ride. Most members have completed the Promys but time willing will take others in and fight the ENM and mission boss at the same time.  Several members have the place memorized and finding the MRs is never an issue. Finding one that is active can be frustrating.

This day they did two runs. The first was to Dem. Pretty uneventful waltz up to the 4th floor. Probably had to backtrack once for an empty MR. Boss went down pretty quick. Drops were not good however as compared to other runs. Sometimes members net easily 100K plus after selling the pooled treasure at AH.

The second was a breeze to the 4th floor at Mea (i think it was). But here is where problems began. The mobs are very plentiful on the last floor. No good place to stop. Those Extra-dimensional trees in Promyvion Mea were really wide just like in East Sarutabaruta. Don’t run by these trees without looking behind them. A Gorger caught site of the party and chased us toward the 4th floor zone. Several died. The others ran like “chocobos on steriods” and trained all the mobs to the zone. It looked like a Freak Zoo parade as the Emptys made their slow march back to there areas. The small floating islands of land funneled them all making it even more difficult to get through to the Spire for those left behind.

This is where the almighty Reraise Earring comes into play. This is a must equip for at least the White mage in a Pormy party. You cant call your LS for help on party wipe in here. Most of the Avengers use and/or borrow one for the last floor. The Avengers pooled their gil and bought one to share. Poor Ecaroh used one 3 times in the last sprint to the Spire of Mea. He was up and down more times then a Mummy in a horror flick.

After reaching the Spire we all healed up for the boss. Unfortunately the “Ingestor” ENM boss ended up Wind based on Windsday. Also (I think) one of his abilities is defense boost and we didn’t have enough DD to take him down.

Here is poor Eca out of mp swinging for all he’s worth. (Which is not much against this guy.)
