As they looked out over the gathering demons, Elexa awoke to realize the pain she had
caused even more now then ever. Legolais had no plan to get them past the Demons
without getting caught except to fight his way through. After they rested there mana and
cured themselves up, they discussed the plan of action. Legolais wanted to fight his way
through as any black mage would. Legolais removed his pole from his back and as he did
Elexa put her hand on it and said,” No wait! I have something we can use.” She reached
into her bag and pulled out a pair of Vazyhl rings. “These will allow us to port to the
crystal; we got them from Dark Lux in case of emergency. I took one off James after I
killed him.” Legolais took the spare and put it on his finger and prepared to teleport.
Zeratu staggered up from there encounter with the dragons and began to rest. Ganiman
with an angry tarutarus face cures himself and then begins to cure others. Ecaroh looks
around with a tight grip on his sword and begins to yell towards the castle,” Is that all you
got! Come on you coward! COME ON!” He then sheathed his sword and took a knee to
rest up with the others. Foot steps in the snow could be heard coming closer at a very fast
pace. Ganiman turned to see a demon running at him nearly 2 feet away from his face
when suddenly a hammer flies by Ganiman’s head and strikeing the demon and killing it
instantly. Ganiman quickly turned around to see Rickshaw standing there with an angry
look on his face. Rickshaw slowly walks over picks up his hammer and the takes a knee.
He looks to Ganiman and says,” I am not here just to keep you guys alive. I want some
action too.” Then he winked at Ganiman and continued to rest. Ganiman looked over to
Zeratu and Zeratu with eyes wide open just looks at Ganiman confused.
Legolais and Elexa appeared at the Vazyhl gate crystal and looked around to find there
friends. Behind the crystal to the east he could see them resting and began to move
towards there location. As they approached the others Ganiman looked up to see Elexa
and Legolais walking towards them. Immediately he thought it was a trap and yelled,”
Getaru ready!” The others jumped up quickly and pulled out there swords and staves.
Legolais yells,” No no it’s me guys, it is really me!” Ganiman looked at Elexa and said,”
Our Legolais would not be walking around with the enemy. Our Legolais would have
killed that traitor in a secondaru!”
Elexa reached inside her gobbie bag and pulled out a small blue vial. She handed it to
Ecaroh and told him,” Ecaroh, you don’t have to trust me, but here is the cure for the ones
sickened in SanDoria. I believe Dragonesti was one of them.” Ecaroh’s eyes began to
water a bit as he reached out his hand in disbelief. He took the vial from her and rested
his hand one on top of hers.
After Legolais explained his stay in the keep, the others decided to respect his decision to
trust Elexa, at least for the time being. Legolais failed to mention the scar on his stomach
which he got from his “ever too real” dream. What worried Legolais however were not
the visions he saw in the time he was locked inside his own mind, it was what possibly
still remained inside of him that he feared. In the distance the party could see hundreds of

demons rallying together to guard entrance to the Castle. With only eight of them, there
was no possible way they could take defeat them all, so the only option that remained
was to flee back to SanDoria and gather the troops.
The group got themselves together and began to cast Teleport-Hola when all of a sudden
Legolais and Rickshaw were both hit with a ranged attack which interrupted there
casting. Ganiman and Finwe quickly turned to see a party of demons standing no more
then 10 feet away. Zeratu points at the farthest one from them who is casting a spell of
Sleepga II. The entire party falls asleep in there tracks. The first demon goes after
Rickshaw, as he awakes he instantly begins casting curaga to awaken everyone else but
he is hit and casting interrupted. So he quickly targets Finwe and cast cure on him. Finwe
woke up and immediately Elemental Sealed and Sleepga II the demons. Before the spell
could land one of the demons pulls off a Silence on Rickshaw. He quickly pulls out his
hammer and swings it at the demon mage. Swing after swing Rickshaw began to pound
the demons into the ground. While Rickshaw was engaged with the demons, Finwe
unsilenced him and awoke the others. As they came to, they witnessed Rickshaw
swinging his hammer; having killed nearly every demon before they could even rise to
help. Ganiman and Zeratu killed what little life the few demons had left and Rickshaw
just stood there holding a dripping hammer in his hand and face covered in demon blood.
Elexa leans over to Legolais and says,” Wow, Whitemages really do have some
suppressed anger issues.” Finwe looks at Elexa and says,” Oh you shouldntaru talk
either.” Elexa rolls her eyes and looks away. Before they knew it the ground began to
rumble and Legolais knew that the Demon Armies had made there way here to the
Crystal. Ecaroh quickly runs up the hill and looks down to the others and begins to shout,
“They are coming! Hundreds are coming!” Elexa turned to Legolais and said,” I will hold
them off, you guys get away.” Legolais begins to talk but is interrupted by Elexa again,”
No excuses, just go guys. This is a chance to change my fate and now I will pay for my
crimes. Do not risk yourselves when you still have all of Vana’Diel to save!” Legolais
looked down at the ground then back to Elexa. He began to cast Teleport-Hola as did
Rickshaw. Elexa ran towards the demons and used Chain spell to get their attention. Then
she repeatedly stunned the demons one by one for as long as she could. As the teleport
spell was about to finish, Legolais and the others watched the Demons overcome the stun
spells as Elexa ran out of mana. She began to swing her sword but was stuck by a scythe
to her legs. She dropped to the ground, and then was covered by Demons. Legolais and
the others vanished.
Appearing at the Crag of Hola, Legolais and Ganiman both sighed dejectedly. Awaiting
them at the Crag was there new Paladin friend Tihm. Alongside him were many other
people who had arrived at SanDoria after The Avengers had left. Tihm walked over to
Legolais and shook his hand and said,” Glad to see you made it friend. We have some
new soldiers for this army now.” Tihm turned to the side and introduced a large Galka
Ranger standing next to him and said,” This is Turq. He is here to fight for Vana’Diel.”
Legolais shook his hand and said, “I know you don’t I.”

Turq replied with,” I believe you knew my brother SSG.” The others turned around and
looked at Turq now seeing the resemblance and welcomed him with open arms into the
alliance.
The reunion of Legolais to his friends seemed almost timeless. Elexa, who sadly didn’t
realize her full potential, lost her life defending the ones she had turned on to begin with.
Though at the end Ganiman and the others still did not trust her, they still respected her
for the sacrifice she made. Legolais and Ganiman talked through most of the night as the
others slept. Ganiman told him about Dragonesti and what had happened to SanDoria.
Ganiman also gave Legolais a Pearlsack to the newly formed Team Avengers Linkshell
so that they would not lose contact again. As Lego and Gani sat around discussing
options they had ideas and sparks began to fly. It seemed when Ganiman and Legolais
put there heads together an idea of great magnitude would just erupt from there thoughts
like an earthquake. This was one of the many things that Dark Lux underestimated in the
Team.
As the morning sun rose into the sky Ganiman and Legolais awoke the others as they
prepared for the walk back to the makeshift town of SanDoria. They looked back at the
Crag and at the grave they had made for Elexa, and then turned and walked away.
Meanwhile back in Xarcabard, Elexa’s body lie bloody and half covered with snow
already. The wind was strong as the blizzard increased in strength. From out of the
morning light, a tarutaru wearing a red cloak walked up to the body. This taru began to
raise her. When it had no effect, he began to cast a summoning spell. The mighty wolf
Fenrir appeared from the ground. He pointed at the body and Fenrir picked up the body
as if it was one of its own puppies. A few demons were in the area and began towards the
Avatar and the Summoner. As they approached, the Summoner nodded to Fenrir who
gently placed Elexa back into the snow. Fenrir ran up to the coming demons and used
Howling Moon on them, they covered there ears and then fell to the ground, killed
instantly. Fenrir walked back over and picked up Elexa’s body then followed the Taru
and they both disappeared into the storm.
Legolais and the others arrived back at the campsite that used to be SanDoria. The mist
that had filled the city had begun to recede. They had a special tent setup especially for
the Avengers. When they entered they found the King and his two sons were waiting
inside for them. Legolais knelt down and bowed to the King. The king looked at Legolais
and Ganiman and said,” I have a special gift for you Avengers.” The king began to go
into some detail over a specially designed craft he had hidden underground in East
Ronfaure. It was designed for the royal family long ago as a type of war craft that would
protect them from most enemies while in flight and was capable of speeds much faster
then that of a normal airship. It was called the Highwind. The only way to access
however was through the Oubliette. They now had to devise a way to safely get through
the mist and into the tunnels far beneath the city so that they could get to this craft. With
this they would be able to take out many demons from the air before entering the castle.

Outside of Castle Zvahl, at the Gate crystal other types of beastmen began to gather as
well feeling the call of Dark Lux. The Orcs, Quadavs, and Yaguda were now gathering
with the Demons. They were gathering for a war.
